Draw Bridge Winners

During the spring of 2006 KBP held a Draw Bridge contest for artists of all ages to contribute their ideas for the new bridge. The judging panel of artists and community leaders was impressed with the high quality and compelling vision presented throughout the 200 entries.

TheDrawBridge contest supports KBP’s vision - to reconnect South Minneapolis neighborhoods through the construction of a pedestrian bridge over I-35W at 40th Street that will serve as a capstone to the RiverLake Greenway and as an iconic gateway to Minneapolis- by engaging the artistic talents of our community to help create a vision for the new bridge. Selections from the DrawBridge will be used to help designers understand the community’s vision for the new bridge.
